Ingredients
Greens
- 1 lb. bag Dole Coleslaw
- ½ cup slivered almonds
- ¼ cup sesame seeds
- ½ stick butter
- 1 package ramen noodles, crushed
- 12 green onions
Dressing
- 1 cup cooking oil
- ½ cup vinegar
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp. soy sauce
- ½ tsp. salt ¼ tsp. pepper
Directions
- Brown the crushed ramen noodles (discard the seasoning packet), seeds, and almonds in the butter. Drain on a paper towel to cool.
- Mix cabbage and onions. Add the noodles and dressing just prior to serving. Mix well.

I got this from a person in my mom’s club when Ethan was a baby.
The dressing and noodle mixture can be made the day prior but don’t put them on until just before serving. If serving more than 4 people, I recommend doubling the recipe.
From Mary Jo: I usually don’t use all the dressing. I have substituted sunflower seeds for the sesame seeds.
