Notes

A Nuyens classic. This recipe, as well as the notes below, comes from Christine’s hand-written notes for Grandma’s recipe.

*Grandma’s recipe didn’t have quantities, so we used a big box of green Jello and 8 oz. of cream cheese.

**Grandma used an 8-oz. tub of Cool Whip instead of whipped cream.

I use a handmixer to mix the first three ingredients.

You kids didn’t like the pineapple so I left it out. If you use pineapple I recommend crushed.

Grandma used miniature marshmallows, not chopped ones.

Grandma used to add chopped walnuts and when she unmolded it, she would top with maraschino cherries.
