Mary Shark’s Peanut Butter Cookies

~4 DOZEN COOKIES |  COOK TIME: 10-12 MIN  |  PREHEAT: 350°

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. cream of tartar
  • ¾ cup peanut butter

Directions

  1. Cream butter, eggs, sugar together.
  2. Add dry ingredients.
  3. Add peanut butter.

This recipe comes from Grandma’s recipe collection, but she didn’t note who or where it came from.

From Allyson: I baked at 350° for 12 minutes. I shaped into balls a little larger than a teaspoon and made cross-hatches with a fork before baking.
